The bus leaves Hurghada at 01:30 and travels to Cairo with a police security convoy. The drive to Cairo takes about 8 hours, and you are back at your hotel at around 22:00.

Your guide speaks English, German, Russian or French at no extra charge. A guide in Italian, Polish or Spanish can be arranged for an extra fee per group, so please ask us when you book.

Four days a week, on a shared bus

The bus runs every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. It is a shared trip, so you travel with other guests. The exact pick-up time depends on your hotel and is confirmed after booking, and the itinerary may change.

Tips for the day

Ask your hotel reception the evening before for a breakfast box, because breakfast is not served at 01:30. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for walking, bring sun cream and a hat, and charge your phone or camera.
